"Forests’  Tales of Repair”
(part 3)
Premiere 10-14 September 2025, in the twilight at 19.45, Teatersalen & Secret Garden, under Metropolis

Continuing where THE FORESTS TRIAL left last year, in this years' fictional theatrical courtroom, five women and thirteen sound-machines join together in a choir mourning the death of Nature. They sing in gratitude, and elevate the vibration of the space with Solfeggio healing frequencies generated by movements, stories, songs and sounds, as way to repair the land.

We ask plants and trees as our allies: How can we move together? What can we learn from you? How can we create conditions for mutual regeneration and gratitude?

While a toolkit is shared with the audience, spreading strategies for healing our own environment –attempting to repair what others have destroyed- the artists examine ways to demand reparation from those responsible for the environmental crimes presented in last year's performance THE FORESTS TRIAL.

FORESTS’ TALES OF REPAIR is inspired by the knowledge and practices of indigenous people. It invites the audience to use the theatre space or site-specific as a courtroom, ‘a Parliament for All Beings’ -thinking with Bruno Latour- giving voice to the more-than-human.

FORESTS' TALES OF REPAIR is the third part of Sara Gebran's five years performances and research in defense of the forests. It summarizes the audience votes from last years performance, on where responsibility should lie for two natural disasters – Cheminovas pollution in Denmark and the illegal gold mines in Venezuela's Amazon.

A sensorial, environmental political experience, and a reflection on our shared responsibility.
